MetaNation is set to expand the global ecosystem of ShortChall, a short-form video challenge platform it has developed. On the 22nd, MetaNation announced that it had signed a business agreement with S&W Partners to promote global participation-based challenge programs focusing on wellness (health and lifestyle balance), real estate, and K-culture.

Through this agreement, MetaNation and S&W Partners plan to introduce diverse challenge programs using ShortChall. They will jointly plan wellness-related content, K-culture-based lifestyle challenges, and social contribution, ESG (environmental, social, and governance) projects to increase global user participation.
They will also operate programs involving influencers and celebrities while strengthening community networks in partnership with domestic organizations such as the Korea Digital Wellness Association and the Korea Silver Lifelong Education Association. In addition, they plan to accelerate overseas market expansion through global summits and ambassador programs.

MetaNation stated that through this collaboration, it aims to transform ShortChall from a simple short-form video platform into a global hub that encompasses wellness, real estate, K-content, and ESG.
MetaNation CEO Lee Kwang-tae said, “This strategic partnership will accelerate the expansion of ShortChall’s global user base. Starting with Southeast Asia, we will grow the platform onto the global stage.”
S&W Partners CEO Park Sang-gyu added, “By combining our model—integrating wellness, real estate, AI, and Web3 (a blockchain-based next-generation internet)—with ShortChall, we will create a new participation and reward structure, ultimately building a sustainable ecosystem that also embraces social value and ESG.”

MetaNation is currently accelerating investor recruitment ahead of ShortChall’s official launch. The platform features a virtuous cycle of fun, participation, reward, and re-engagement. It allows users to upload short videos and join challenges to receive rewards such as points, which they can then use to re-engage in further activities.

The official launch is scheduled for early next month with an inaugural challenge in Indonesia, and the company aims to secure 1 million users within the year as part of its global expansion plan.
